Welcome to 2017! What a year I have ahead of me – so many beautiful weddings to come, and as I write this on a cold and grey January day (wrapped in a blanket and covered in cats), I honestly cannot WAIT until the days start getting longer, the sun starts to shine, and wedding season truly starts up again! So what better way to kick off the blog this year than with a gorgeous burst of colour from one of my favourite weddings of last summer – Sam & Toby’s delightfully eccentric, superbly colourful, and downright bonkers Pangdean Old… Read more

…. Well, 2016 has been an interesting year for me professionally as I’ve been on a mission to really develop my photography. I’ve now shot over 300 weddings, and although the easy option would be to coast along doing the same old thing, I really believe that every one of my couples deserve more than that – I want to bring the very best work I can to each wedding. Weddings are often chaotic places that will test even the most experienced photographer, but I’ve tried especially hard this year. I’ve really worked my socks off. And what has been… Read more

There are a lot of things that we do at a wedding that are a teensy bit daft – like holding a bunch of flowers all day, or cutting a really big cake together – or wearing a veil (veils are like naughty children at weddings, always playing up), or even people lining up to throw paper at your perfectly coiffed heads – when else in life would you ever do these things?! But as I look back at my 2016 weddings, one thing that stands out is that… Read more

…………………………………………………………… Looking back through these photographs from Mel and Aaron’s beautiful Gildredge Manor wedding, I can honestly say it was one of the best weddings I had the honour of photographing this year. You can see from these photos just what an emotional day it was – we had sad tears, big laughs, happy tears, huge grins, wobbly lips, wobby legs – just basically the full range of human emotions!! My fave thing at weddings!!!! I’m so fond of Mel and Aaron who are just the most gorgeous kind caring people – Mel is such a beautiful stylish girl who… Read more

Milwards House Wedding {Sian & Andrew}

…. Well this is a treat for your eyes today – Sian & Andrew’s super quirky, super beautiful Milwards House wedding! As soon as I met Sian and Andrew, I absolutely fell in love with them – they are such a properly cool couple. Sian is the most creative bride I have met and was full of so many amazing ideas for her big day – with an awesome Batman theme running though the day, and loads of amazing things to photograph like a bouncy castle (blooming love a bouncy castle!) and a proper yummy hot dog stall serving the… Read more
