Verity & Anthony’s Brighton College Wedding

Aaaaah how the winds blew and the rain fell on this very special wedding day in March! Typically this day of rain was surrounded by 2 weeks of gorgeous sunshine… you’ve got to love the crazy weather in this country! Definately as a wedding photographer you learn to prepare for all options, and you must know your kit so that you can create beautiful photographs come what may. So, it was armed with brollies and a camera bag stuffed full of lenses and lighting options that I headed off to Verity and Anthony’s wedding day last month. And do you… Read more

Emma & Chris’ quirky engagement shoot at Ethel’s Kitchen

It is an interesting fact that a lot of my Brides & Grooms own a dog, really like Elvis and would say The Goonies is their favourite film. Random but true, and shows just how completely COOL they all are! Emma and Chris are no exception to this, and when we were planning their pre-wedding shoot we knew their adorable pup Gracie had to be involved, so we chose the seafront as an ideal spot for a romantic walk. Emma & Chris also spend a lot of time at the very hip cafe Ethel’s Kitchen, so we thought we’d start… Read more

Rachel & Ben’s wintery engagement shoot in Ditchling, Sussex

It was actually raining when we started this engagement shoot with the beautiful Rachel and her equally gorgeous fiance Ben – but we didn’t let that put us off! Armed with wellies and big smiles, we had a great early morning walk around Ditchling Common – a stunning location with lots of wild woods, just perfect for a romantic shoot. The rain cleared up, leaving this beautiful soft misty light which I love for romantic engagement shoots. And even better when your subjects are as stunning as this couple. I love Rachel and Ben – both were unsure about being… Read more

Connie & Andy’s fabulous engagement shoot at Swanbourne Lake

Here’s some photographs I’ve really been looking forward to sharing. It’s not often a bride asks you “Shall we bring our roller skates?” but then Connie and Andy are not the average bride and groom! This lovely couple suggested Swanbourne Lake as a good location – it’s the first time I’d been there, and I loved it… it’s a beautiful big boating lake with hundreds of ducks and trees. A perfect spot for an engagement shoot! I am the wedding photographer for Connie & Andy’s big day in October this year – they fancied a pre-wedding photoshoot to get used… Read more

Brighton Dome Bar winter wedding with Camilla & Neil

I was so excited when I met Camilla & Neil and started to hear their plans for their wedding day. They’d chosen two of the biggest architectural landmarks in Brighton town centre as their venues – the impressive pillared Unitarian Church, followed by their reception in the Brighton Dome Bar. Stunning!!! And just like their choices of venue, Camilla and Neil are a very very cool couple – both work as archeologists, and have a real love of architecture and culture. We’d done this supercool retro pre-wedding shoot back in October which we’d all really enjoyed – so I was… Read more
