I’m excited to say my second episode – Loosening Up – will be broadcast on Mon 9th Dec at 6pm. We’re going with one big brush for the whole painting – it’s my tried and tested way of avoiding being fiddly, as the big brush just won’t let you do too much detail…
I’m really delighted to say I’m going to be presenting two new episodes an exciting new TV programme – Artist of the Year: Masterclass – which will be airing on 2nd Dec at 6.30pm on Sky Arts. I’ve filmed two episodes with the lovely people at Storyvault – the first one will be showing you how to work through an Alla Prima Portrait in Oils (painting all in one sitting). Yes, I’m channelling my inner Bob Ross and will be leading all you lovely people through a half hour tutorial.
What a brilliant day we had as part of the Hidden Heroes project at Waterloo! A swat team of portrait artists landed on the concourse armed with paintbrushes, paint and a whole day ahead of us to celebrate some of the unsung heroes who work at Network Rail…
